CHEESE SAILING
LEVENT PEYNİRCİ MAINSail TRIMMER
Peynirci began sailing in 1990 at Fenerbahçe Sports Club and earned his first national team selection at the age of 12. At 14, he claimed his first Turkish Championship in the Optimist class, followed by multiple Turkish titles in Optimist, Laser 4.7, 470, Dragon, Platu 25, J/70, and Sportboat classes in the years that followed. In 2001, he finished ninth at the 470 Junior World Championship held in Turkey, and in 2004 placed second at the World Inter-University Championship.
Following the 2005 Mediterranean Games, he transitioned from centerboard classes to keelboat racing. In 2009, he secured second place at the St. Tropez Sailing Week in France, followed by a first-place finish the following year.
After continuing his sailing career alongside his work in interior architecture for a period, he founded Cheese Sailing in 2012 and has since achieved numerous national and international successes.
