CEREN CELAYİR TRIMMER
Ceren Celayir began sailing in 2001 at Istanbul Sailing Club in the Optimist class and has represented Türkiye as a National Team athlete since 2004. She achieved numerous national podium finishes in the Optimist, Laser, 420, and 470 classes. Between 2012 and 2016, she competed internationally as a member of the Olympic Team in the 470 class.
Since 2021, she has been racing in ORC/IRC classes as a skipper and helmswoman with various corporate teams, and as of 2025, she competes as a trimmer with the Eker J70 Women’s Team.
In addition to her professional sailing career, Celayir graduated with a double major in Sports Management and Coaching Education from Istanbul University.
Working as a personal trainer since 2015, she provides professional support to both athletes and sedentary individuals in the areas of performance, health, and overall quality of life.
