SEDEF ÖZKAN TRIMMER
Sedef Özkan joined Eker Dairy Products in 2022 and was introduced to sailing through the company’s strong support for the sport. Following training programs completed in collaboration with Doğa Arıbaş Sailing, she began racing in the Eker Corporate Sailing Team in 2023, initially in the piano position. Competing in both keelboat and one-design classes, she has continued to develop her skills by gaining experience on a variety of boats, including Ker 40, J/105, A35, and J/70.
In 2025, Özkan earned the opportunity to race in the J70 fleet for the first time and has also taken an active role in the organization of the J70 Turkey Tour events. She has competed in major regattas such as the MIYC Winter Trophy, Göcek Winter Trophy, TAYK Trophy, and the Bosphorus Cup, contributing to notable results with the Eker Corporate Sailing Team, including 3rd place in IRC2 at the 2025 TAYK Trophy, 2nd place in IRC0 at the 2024 MIYC Winter Trophy, and 2nd place in IRC1 at the 2025 Göcek Winter Trophy.
As a member of the Eker Women’s Team, she aims to continue developing across different onboard positions. She also plays an active role in the structuring and operation of the Eker Sports Club Sailing Academy, established in 2024, supporting both internal company initiatives and broader Eker Sports Club activities.
