ERDEM PREKA TRIMMER
Erdem Preka began his sailing career in 2003 during his university years with the Boğaziçi University Sailing Team. Following his initial training, he moved into keelboat sailing and started competing in yacht races.
Between 2004 and 2007, Preka raced on various yachts under the Boğaziçi Sailing Team, and in 2008 he joined the EXIT team. Since then, he has consistently continued IRC keelboat racing as part of EXIT’s program.
He completed his BSc in Industrial Engineering at Boğaziçi University in 2007 and earned his MSc in Finance and Economics from the same university in 2009. In his professional career, he has held various roles in risk management and insurance, and he currently works at Erdemir.
Today, Erdem remains actively involved in racing—competing in the J/70 class aboard On the Rocks while continuing EXIT’s IRC racing schedule.
