Kerem Paksoy

KEREM PAKSOY TRIMMER

Kerem Paksoy began sailing as an amateur in 2007. After completing his initial training, he started competing in IRC class races through a friend, serving in mast base and trimming roles. Racing with teams such as Idefix, Şan, Uno, and Arcora, he achieved the IRC 1 TAYK Championship with the Uno team. Since 2025, he has been racing as a trimmer aboard the J/70 On the Rocks.

Kerem completed his BSc in Industrial Engineering at Purdue University in 2000, followed by an MSc in the same field at Purdue University in 2001. In 2009, he earned his PhD in Metallurgical Engineering from Yıldız Technical University. He currently serves as a managing partner at Duratek.
