ORIENT EXPRESS
EFE SEZİK TRIMMER
Born in 1992, Efe Sezik began his sailing journey at a young age with slalom windsurfing. Between 2005 and 2010, he competed in sportboat and yacht classes under the guidance of well-known sailor Serdar Ünsel.
In 2010, he joined the UNO One Tonner and Farr 40 teams led by director Levent Özonur and skipper Hasip Gençer, gaining extensive domestic and international experience over many years. He competed in the Farr 40 One Design class on Asterisk UNO, taking on foredeck and trimmer positions. His achievements include 6th place at the 2013 Newport World Championship, Corinthian World Championship in San Francisco 2014, 3rd place at the 2017 Ancona European Championship, and European Championship in Istanbul 2018.
In 2021, Efe Sezik participated in sportboat racing for a season with Orient Express, and as of 2024, he is part of Orient Express’s J/70 One Design series team, actively continuing his competitive sailing career.
