NEVRA EKER HELMSWOMAN
While serving as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Eker Dairy Products and Vice President of Eker Sports Club, Nevra Eker also represents sailing at a high level as the helmswoman of the Eker Sailing Team.
Competing in the J/70 class, Eker has taken a pioneering role in Turkish racing with her all-women team, while also representing Türkiye internationally with mixed crews. By competing in the 2021 J/70 World Championship, she became the first Turkish female J/70 helmswoman in the event’s history. Her achievements include 1st place at the 2025 Bacardi Cup (Mixed) and 3rd place at the ClubSwan 36 ACI Cup. She has also contributed to the international visibility of Turkish sailing by competing in the 2022 J/70 World Championship Women Helm category and the 2025 Corinthian European Championship Mixed Plus category.
With a strong commitment to the development of sport, she supports athlete development across multiple disciplines—especially sailing and volleyball—within Eker Sports Club. She also plays an active role in the growth of major events such as the TAYK–Eker Olympos Regatta and socially responsible initiatives like Eker I Run, helping to bring sports culture to a wider audience.
