YAĞMUR YAVUZ TRIMMER
Yağmur began sailing at the age of 22 with the ITU Sailing Team. She quickly transitioned into keelboat racing, gaining extensive experience on different boats and with a wide variety of crews. Racing with Doğa Arıbaş Sailing in Istanbul, Marmaris, and Göcek, she developed a highly versatile technical profile by working in multiple onboard positions including trimmer, bow, pit, and mainsail.
Balancing her professional career alongside an active sporting life, she played a key role in founding the Pernod Ricard Sailing Team, significantly contributing to the development of a sailing culture within the company, and continues to be an active member of the team. As of the 2025 season, she joined the Eker J70 Women’s Team, bringing her racing experience into a new class, while also continuing to compete actively as a trimmer with the Eker Corporate Sailing Team. She graduated from Istanbul Technical University with a degree in Industrial Engineering in 2023.
Her career highlights include winning the IRC2 Championship at İYK with the Pernod Ricard Sailing Team, achieving Overall 1st place in the Women’s Cup with the Eker Corporate Sailing Team, finishing 2nd in the IRC2 class at the İYK Trophy with the Eker Corporate Sailing Team, and securing 3rd place at the TAYK Trophy with the Eker Corporate Sailing Team.
