CANBERK METE TRIMMER

Born on May 9, 2001, in Üsküdar, Istanbul, Canberk Mete began his sailing career in 2011 in the Optimist class, later continuing to compete in the Laser class.

He subsequently focused on the J/70 class, where he has worked both as a coach and competed as a professional sailor. One of the most significant international achievements of his career is winning the Sportsboat European Championship in 2021.

Throughout his racing career, he has gained extensive experience across a variety of boats, including SB20, J/70, Farr 30, Farr 40, Swan 36, and Swan 50, serving in roles such as helmsman, trimmer, and bowman with different crews.

He currently continues his active racing career in the J/70 class as a trimmer with the HappyHour team.
