UMUT EFE ALPKOÇAK TRIMMER

Umut Efe began his sailing career in 2011 at Karşıyaka Sailing Club, representing Turkey as a national sailor in youth and Olympic classes.

In 2019, he enrolled in the Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Technologies Engineering at Istanbul Technical University.

As of 2022, he has continued his professional sailing career in keelboat racing with Doğa Arıbaş Sailing, taking on roles as helmsman and tactician.

Since 2025, he has been racing in the J/70 class as a trimmer with the Happy Hour team.
