ENES ÇAYLAK TRIMMER
Çaylak was introduced to sailing in 2004 through racing boats, quickly turning this experience into an active racing career. During his youth, he competed in Optimist, Laser, and Pirat classes, later transitioning to centerboard boats during his university studies.
Participating in intercollegiate and international offshore races, Çaylak advanced his career to high-level classes such as IRC, Farr 40, and Swan 36, achieving numerous national championships and significant international successes. Recently, he has focused on one-design racing, particularly in J/70 and International Dragon Class events.
As part of the Provezza Dragon Team with Andy Beadsworth and Simon Fry, he competed in a championship with 50 teams from 17 countries and clinched the world championship in the Dragon class with 17 net points after 8 races.
Çaylak holds a degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Sabancı University and an MBA from Boğaziçi University.
