The Final Leg of the J/70 2024 Turkey Tour Concluded in Çeşme
The final leg of the J/70 2024 Turkey Tour, held in Çeşme between 22–24 November, delivered moments of high excitement. A total of 13 yachts took part in the event, engaging in a demanding battle on the crystal-clear waters of Çeşme.
On the opening day, the fleet got underway in winds of approximately 15–17 knots. Racing across Çeşme’s scenic bays, the sailors pushed offshore, fully engaging with the sea and quickly settling into competition. However, weather conditions became increasingly challenging over the following days. Due to strong winds and rain, only three of the eight scheduled races could be completed.
The results were announced with great excitement, and the trophies were presented to their rightful owners. All teams competing in the J/70 Turkey Tour raced with remarkable dedication, once again showcasing their passion for the sea. At the conclusion of the five-leg 2024 season, the standings were as follows:
