Denizcik

Denizcik (J/70 TUR 442) is one of Türkiye’s most ambitious and internationally competitive J/70 programs. Regularly racing in some of Europe’s strongest one-design fleets, the team has quickly established a consistent high-level presence at major championships.

Founded and led by Gülboy Güryel, Denizcik is recognized for its professionalism, discipline, and commitment to sustainable performance. Competing in Italy, Spain, Sweden, Türkiye, and the United States, the program has earned a respected position in the international J/70 circuit through its consistent results.

The team is supported by world-class sailors including FlyingNikka helmsman and multiple world champion Lorenzo Bressani, nine-time world champion and Farr 40 World Champion Massimo Bortoletto, Olympic sailor and 2023 J/70 World Champion Ben Saxton, and two-time Dragon World Champion Ali Tezdiker.

With its focus on precision, detailed preparation, and continuous improvement, Denizcik proudly represents Türkiye on the international J/70 stage with a high level of competitiveness and professionalism.
