
The 4th Leg of the J/70 Association’s 2022 Turkey Tour was held in Istanbul as the Turkish Championship.

The 2022 J/70 Turkey Tour has concluded.
21 May 2022Five yachts were registered for the 5th leg of the trophy series, held between 11–13 November. A total of seven races (3-2-2) were completed over three days. Racing in light winds measuring between 5 and 7 knots, fierce competition unfolded among Ahmet Eker and his crew aboard Eker Kaymak, Utku Çetiner and his crew sailing Atom, Gülboy Güryel and his crew on Denizcik, Alp Doğuoğlu and his crew aboard Ada Jr., and Altan Eker and his crew sailing Tombul Ayran.

Based on the results of the 5th Leg races, the overall ranking of the top three yachts is as follows;
5th Leg Standings:

- Ada Jr.
2022 Trophy – Top 3 Standings:

With the completion of the 5th Leg, the overall Trophy results were finalized. Based on the combined results of all races of the 2022 J/70 Turkey Tour, the Eker Kaymak team was awarded the Trophy title.
With increasing participation from young helmsmen and a steadily growing fleet, the J/70 Class Association looks forward to bringing the sailing community together once again in 2023 with new races and renewed excitement.
